I'm Melanie. Through two very different and successful college journeys with my kids, I learned what truly helps. I built these resources so you don't have to start from scratch. After years of researching what families need to know (but often don’t learn until it’s too late), I turned that knowledge into practical tools, clear timelines, and a full 4-year roadmap designed to help parents and their kids plan for college starting on day one.

We skip the test prep and coaching packages and guide parents through the parts that matter most: managing timelines, application strategy, and emotional support. This approach grew from my own experience walking two very successful college prep paths with my children. Today, it’s a framework that helps others do the same.

When my children entered high school, I knew I couldn’t wait until junior year to figure out what they needed for a successful college application experience. So I started early by reading the guides, attending the webinars, and researching every aspect of the admissions process. By the time senior year arrived, I felt prepared because I’d spent years building a foundation of knowledge.
Along the way, I realized how many other parents were relying on outdated advice or jumping in too late.
That’s why I created College Admissions for Parents: to turn that learning curve into a clear, structured roadmap any family can follow with confidence.
